Sterling White Halibut from Marine Harvest did well in the food festival Gladmat in Stavanger. A new world record in the number of halibuts on a barbecue was set!
The food festival Gladmat was carried for the 10th time out at the end of July 2008. The Gladmatfestival is an arena for the fine rawmaterial that the Stavanger region has to offer; has a large and diverse public and it is a popular intermediary of the good food.
Our Sterling White Halibut made a big impression in this years festival winning the 'sea' category in the finals for Rogaland country in "The hunt for the taste of Norway", arranged on the second day of the festival.
In addition, Sterling White Halibut participated in a world record attempt to get the highest ever number of halibuts on one barbecue. 50 Sterling White Halibuts were barbecued at once, and the old record was thoroughly beaten!
