Return to press releases
Marine Harvest ASA further strengthens the top management of the company by the appointment of Arne Hjeltnes as new Communication Director. Further the Integration Director position will be made a top management position with Steven Rafferty as Director Integration Management.

The reason for strengthening the Integration Management is to ensure that the integration process of the three companies continues to be successful, and to be prepared for further acquisitions and thereby need for more resources on integration. As a consequence Trine Sæther Romuld will continue as CFO till the end of June when she will join her new position as CFO in Aker Drilling. By then it is expected to have appointed a new CFO for Marine Harvest ASA.

Arne Hjeltnes will take up the position as the Communication Director of Marine Harvest ASA as from 1 April. Hjeltnes held the position as Chief Representative for the Norwegian Seafood Export Council in Southeast Asia from 2003-2005 and Director of Tourism for Norway in the U.S. from 2005 until he joined Marine Harvest ASA (former Pan Fish ASA) as a board member and consultant in July 2006. As a Communication Director Hjeltnes will be a member of the corporate management. He will as a result of his new position leave the Board of Directors of Marine Harvest ASA.

- We are very happy that Arne Hjeltnes has decided to take up the position as Communication Director of Marine Harvest ASA.
