New CFO appointed in Marine Harvest ASA

(Oslo, 2 July 2007) Jørgen K. Andersen has been appointed as new CFO in Marine Harvest ASA.
 
Jørgen K. Andersen comes from the position as CFO Oil & Energy in Norsk Hydro, a position he has held since 2004. In 2003 Andersen was responsible for the separation and listing of Norsk Hydro's fertilizer operations, now known as Yara ASA.
 
Andersen has been employed by Hydro since 1986 and been responsible for a number of international projects related to acquisitions and restructuring throughout the Hydro group. In this period he established and headed Hydro's global tax department. In the period from 1981-1985 Jørgen K. Andersen was working for the Ministry of Oil and Energy.
 
Andersen holds a Master degree in business and has a post graduate degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. He also has postgraduate studies from IMD (Switzerland) and London Business School.
 
Jørgen K. Andersen succeeds Trine Sæther Romuld as CFO. In connection with his new role he will also function as deputy for CEO Atle Eide.
 
Andersen will take up his position in August.
