Q1 2008 harvest volumes and organisation update relating to BU Chile/US

Q1 2008 Harvest Volumes
As previously communicated Marine Harvest has initiated a
information policy with respect to the reporting of actual harvest
volumes. Shortly after the end of each quarter, Marine Harvest will
publish the actual harvest volumes. The harvest volumes will be
provided in head on gutted (HOG) equivalents.

Norway            40,353 tonnes
Chile(1)              24,022 tonnes
Canada              11,348 tonnes
Scotland              6,246 tonnes
Other                   1,673 tonnes
Total                  83,642 tonnes

In connection with the presentation of the Q4 2007 results, Marine Harvest guided a total harvest volume of 70,000 tonnes (HOG).
 
Organisational change in BU Chile/US
Upon expiry of his employment contract, Torben Petersen (62), has decided to resign as CEO of Marine Harvest's business unit Chile/US. Petersen has managed the integration of Marine Harvest's operations in Chile and the US since 2007.
 
Mr. Alvaro Jimenez Seminario, current member of the Chile/US management team as Director of Value Added Smoked Operations, will resume the position as Acting CEO of Chile/US with immediate effect.  Mr. Seminerio has a background as Manager of Delifish and has a degree in Civil Engineering. 
 
Marine Harvest has initiated a search process in order to recruit a new permanent CEO of the business unit.
