Corporate governance compliance

Marine Harvest ASA (the “Company”) considers good corporate governance a precondition for generating shareholder value, as well as achieving a low cost of capital and merit investor confidence.

Marine Harvest ASA strives to ensure that the Company’s internal control mechanisms and management structures comply with generally accepted principles for good corporate governance.


Marine Harvest ASA holds the view that the Company’s current policies for corporate governance are in line with the latest version of the Norwegian Code of Practice for Corporate Governance (the “Norwegian Code”).

A full description of the Norwegian Code is available at the Oslo Stock Exchange’s website (www.ose.no). The following sections provide explanations as to how the Company has addressed the various issues covered by the Norwegian Code.
