Environmental responsibility

Marine Harvest will minimise the environmental impact of its activities and operate in harmony with the environment, neither depleting resources beyond their capacity, nor introducing into the environment materials or substances that cause lasting harm.

Environmental impact is a key concern in all our activities and subject to continual attention to improve the sustainability of supplying excellent seafood derived from farmed fish and the wild catch.

In Marine Harvest's global quality system, environmental responsibility is divided into four sections: Sustainability, Biodiversity, Chemical input, and Energy and waste.
