Working in Marine Harvest

Marine Harvest is the world's leading seafood company and largest producer of farmed salmon. Aquaculture is changing the seafood industry, and Marine Harvest is playing an important role in that change – leading the way with innovation and responsibility.

Marine Harvest is a truly international organisation offering a broad range of opportunities and challenges to a variety of people who have chosen to make their career a quest.

Marine Harvest is organised into five major business units, and four smaller units. The head office is located to Oslo, Norway. All the major business units have their own HR departments, and employ their own staff. Although we always try to find the best candidates, we do not have a large group of expatriates.  Read more about our organisation here.

People are Marine Harvest’s greatest natural resource, and to ensure that Marine Harvest is an excellent company to work in, now and in the future, we are committed to offering:

  • A truly global and diverse working environment
  • Excellent and healthy products
  • Significant and meaningful work
  • Continuous opportunity to grow and contribute
  • Strong focus on achieving collective goals

At Marine Harvest, we are dedicated to improving our company and our industry in order to address the social and environmental challenges associated with both the fishing industry and aquaculture. The quest for sustainability is embedded in every aspect of our business and is a strong part of our corporate culture.

We are a lean organisation. There is ample opportunity for each employee to make broad and important contributions.  We try to foster a spirit of openness – not thinking in silos, territories, or boxes, but encouraging all employees to understand more about what we do and why we do it.

Marine Harvest is the future of aquaculture. Join us in shaping that future.
